Time is running out for voter registration! Are you registered to vote? Maybe you have moved (even within the state), or you just never bothered before. Whatever the reason, REGISTER TODAY— the deadline is upon you.
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 , we the people, will choose the next president of the United States. To participate in this important election you must be a registered voter.
Residents of New York State have until Oct. 10 to register to vote in the 2008 Presidential election.
If you are not sure that you are registered, you can verify your status with your county board of elections.
You can register to vote any number of ways: at the county board of elections, at any state agency-based voter registration center, by calling (800) FOR-VOTE, or online at www.elections.state.ny.us/voting.

print it, fill it out and mail it in. You can also call 1-212-VOTE-NYC for information or to request a form. Or you can register in person at one of the Board of Elections offices. (see below)
